Adult Deaf Camp (Ages 40+)

Summer 2026 ~ We are including a special three day pickleball clinic by a deaf PPR certified coach, Billy Mauldin!  This is for all deaf adults ages 40+ and for all skills.   Beyond the PB clinics, we will have a variety of outdoor and indoor activities as mentioned below.

A week of relaxing, participating in activities, and socializing with likeminded people in a beautiful Adirondack Mountains setting, overlooking the Fourth Lake.  A former century-old hotel, “The Mohawk Hotel” has been converted into a vibrant, rustic and fun summer for active deaf adults to enjoy and experience the bounty of nature.  Active deaf adult campers can choose to from a variety of activities.

An important note: Regretfully, because of the hundred-year-old site, the Camp does not offer building elevators or beach/lawn access for those who use wheelchairs or walkers. Adult campers must be able to climb up and down many stairs, and navigate uneven paths.

About the Lodge rooms:

The Camp has 72 beds total.  The majority of the beds are bunk beds, so we try to limit the Adult camper participants to approximately 36-40 individuals for the Active Adult program in order for each camper to sleep on a lower bunk bed.  There are 2 people assigned to a room, in some cases, we may need to add a 3rd or 4th person to the room.

The men's bathroom (with toilet and shower stalls) is on one floor, the women's on another.

The camp tuition includes: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day.

On Arrival Day – dinner only.

On Departure Day – only breakfast is served.

Parking is available on site.  Bring your own bed sheets (or sleeping bags), pillows, blankets, and towels (for showers and waterfront).
