Welcome to the beautiful splendor of Camp Mark Seven! Located on the Fourth Lake in the Adirondack Mountains, CM7 was established in 1981 by Fr. Thomas Coughlin and members of the Deaf Catholic Community.CM7 is on a beautiful lakefront which offers endless hours of waterfront activities. The spacious lounge features a fireplace and roomy chairs to provide a relaxing atmosphere. The large shaded porch, lined with comfortable wood chairs, is a great place to read or chat.The Mohawk Lodge, a former turn-of-the-century hotel, has a main lobby with a spacious lounge featuring a fireplace and roomy chairs in a relaxing atmosphere. The large shaded veranda, lined with wood chairs, has a sweeping lakefront view. Each dorm-style bedroom varies in size and contains two to six twin and/or bunk beds.Diverse programs are offered for Deaf and hearing individuals of all ages. Indoor program classes are held in various rooms in the Lodge. In the fall of 1998, CM7 became accredited by the American Camping Association.CM7 is open to members of all faiths. Everyone, regardless of religious beliefs, is welcome. A Catholic Mass is offered for interested individuals when Fr. Tom or a visiting priest is at Camp. For those who wish to participate in prayer, there is a beautiful chapel overlooking the woods and lake.In order to maintain the beauty of our Camp, CM7 is a smoke-free environment. No pets or RV trailers are permitted.
